What is Velox Stitched?

Velox Stitched manages 5 data types including orders. Helps you organize, track, and share your work in 1 place for teams and solo users.

How difficult is DIY installation?

Our DIY kits come with detailed step-by-step instructions and a video guide. Most customers complete installation in 30-60 minutes for a steering wheel cover. We recommend a heat gun for easier fitting. If you're unsure, our Pro-Fit mail-in service is available as an alternative.

Do you offer professional installation?

Yes! We can recommend trusted installers in your area. Alternatively, our Pro-Fit steering wheel re-stitching service handles the complete transformation—just mail your wheel to us, and we'll return it within 48 hours.

Will the cover damage my steering wheel?

No. Our covers are designed with protective backing to prevent damage. The adhesive-backed or fitted design works with your existing wheel without scratching or harming the original material.

Can I install a cover on a steering wheel with airbags?

Yes, but airbag safety is paramount. We provide airbag-safe installation guides. The cover must not obstruct airbag deployment. If you're unsure, contact us before purchase.

Do you ship to the USA?

Yes! The USA is one of our biggest markets and we ship there regularly. We use USPS International Tracked or UPS for US orders — typically 5–10 working days from dispatch. Shipping starts from $12 and duties/taxes are shown transparently at checkout. Prices on our site are shown in both £ GBP and $ USD for your convenience.

How long does shipping take?

UK orders: 2–3 working days (Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD). USA orders: 5–10 working days via USPS International Tracked or UPS. Rest of the world: 7–14 days. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Our biggest markets outside the UK are the USA, Europe, and Singapore. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and are calculated at checkout. All international orders are sent fully tracked and insured.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day returns policy for unused items in original condition. If you receive a defective product, we'll replace it free of charge. Contact us at veloxstitched@gmail.com for returns authorisation.

How is my order packaged?

All items are carefully packaged in protective padding to ensure safe delivery. Steering wheel covers are rolled in tissue paper, and seat covers are vacuum-sealed to prevent damage during shipping.

How long does a custom order take?

Standard custom orders typically take 2-3 weeks from order confirmation. During peak periods (Dec-Jan), turnaround may extend to 4 weeks. Express orders (completed in 7-10 days) are available at checkout for an additional fee.

Yes! We offer Express (7-10 days) and Priority (4-5 days) production options at checkout. Note that these are subject to availability and current workshop capacity.

What materials do you offer?

We offer Alcantara, Nappa leather, Perforated leather, Carbon Grip, Suede, and Heritage fabrics. Each material has different characteristics—reach out if you need guidance choosing the right one for your needs.

Can I customise the stitch colour?

Absolutely! We offer 12+ signature stitch colours including black, white, red, blue, and custom colour matching. You can preview your selection during the design process.

What if I'm not satisfied with my custom order?

We stand behind every piece. If your order doesn't meet our standards, we'll remake it at no additional cost. We also offer a 30-day quality guarantee on all hand-stitched work.

Will a steering wheel cover fit my specific car?

Most universal covers fit steering wheels between 13-16 inches in diameter. We also offer model-specific covers for popular vehicles. Use our Fitment Finder tool or contact us with your vehicle details for confirmation.

How do I care for my steering wheel cover?

For Alcantara and leather, wipe with a soft, dry cloth regularly. Avoid water and harsh chemicals. Annual conditioning (included with new orders) maintains suppleness and prevents cracking.

Are your materials eco-friendly?

We source premium, ethically-produced materials from European mills. While our fabrics are not fully vegan, we work exclusively with suppliers committed to sustainable practices and animal welfare standards.

Do you offer warranty on custom orders?

Yes. All custom steering wheel covers and seat covers come with a 5-year warranty on stitching workmanship and material defects. This covers manufacturing issues only, not wear from normal use.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. We also offer PayPal at checkout. All payments are secure and encrypted.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All transactions are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Do you offer payment plans?

For orders over £500, we offer interest-free payment plans through our checkout. Contact us for custom payment arrangements.
